AAccessibility is an ongoing practice.

This statement describes our current direction and feedback process. It is not a certification that every page or third-party experience is fully conformant.

01

Our commitment

CuraLink is committed to improving digital access for people with disabilities. We aim to provide a Website that can be perceived, operated, understood, and used with a broad range of browsers, devices, keyboards, screen readers, zoom settings, and other assistive technologies.

Accessibility is considered in our design, content, development, and maintenance work. We also recognize that needs and standards evolve, and that feedback from users is essential to finding and removing barriers.

02

Standard and conformance status

Our target is theWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2at Level AA. These internationally recognized guidelines explain how to make digital content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Current status: the Website is working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It has not yet completed an independent, comprehensive accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance.

Applicable accessibility obligations may differ by jurisdiction. We continue to evaluate relevant Canadian accessibility requirements and recognized international guidance as the Website develops.

03

Measures we take

NAVIGATION

Keyboard and focus

We provide a skip link, visible focus indicators, logical page structure, and controls intended to work without a mouse.

CONTENT

Structure and language

We use descriptive headings, labels, link text, and plain language to help people understand content and relationships.

VISUAL

Contrast and scaling

We design for readable contrast, responsive layouts, text resizing, and clear states across desktop and mobile screens.

MEDIA

Alternatives and motion

We aim to provide meaningful text alternatives and respect reduced motion preferences where animation is not essential.

We also review new components for semantic HTML, accessible names, error messaging, touch target sizing, and compatibility with common assistive patterns.

04

Technology and compatibility

The Website relies on modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It is designed for current versions of major browsers and operating systems. Some interactive functions—such as forms, navigation, and cookie preferences—may require JavaScript.

Accessibility can vary with the combination of browser, device, operating system, assistive technology, user settings, and connection quality. Very old or unsupported browser versions may not deliver the intended experience.

05

Known and possible limitations

Despite our efforts, some barriers may remain. Areas that can require further review include:

  • older content or complex visual diagrams that may need richer text alternatives;
  • video captions, transcripts, or audio descriptions where media is used;
  • interactive maps and highly visual healthcare workflow presentations;
  • documents or content supplied in a third-party format; and
  • third-party websites reached through external links.

We prioritize issues that prevent access to essential information or completion of a key task. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us what page and action were affected.

06

Feedback and alternative access

If you cannot access content, complete a form, or use a feature, contact us through the Website. Please include:

  • the page address or name;
  • a brief description of the barrier;
  • the browser, device, or assistive technology used, if comfortable sharing it; and
  • the format or assistance that would help you access the information.

We will review the request and aim to provide a reasonable accessible alternative where practicable. You will not be required to disclose a disability to request assistance.

07

Assessment, review, and updates

Accessibility is reviewed through internal design and development checks, user feedback, and future testing as the Website changes. We intend to update this statement when our approach, known limitations, or assessment status materially changes.

This statement was prepared with reference to W3C guidance on accessibility statements and WCAG 2.2. It was last updated on July 25, 2026.
